Footage from the epic moment Infowars founder Alex Jones crashed The Young Turks set at the 2016 Republican National Convention is going viral online as the internet celebrates the ten-year anniversary of the incident.
The “Ten Years Ago Today” 𝕏 account shared the clip on Tuesday, one decade to the date from the nearly-physical altercation.

Jones walked onto the leftist program’s set as host Cenk Uygur spoke with guests, asking the panel if they liked his “Hillary [Clinton] For Prison” bumper stickers and whipping out a Bill Clinton “rapist” t-shirt.
Uygur angrily ripped the shirt out of Jones’ hand, dismissed Clinton’s sexual assault allegations, and argued that Donald Trump had been accused of rape.
Stone stepped in to defend Trump and The Young Turks host became irate, calling the longtime Republican strategist “the biggest liar in the world.”
Trying to deescalate the situation, Jones patted Uygur on the shoulder and said, “Don’t get mad, it’s alright. He’s actually mad, he’s actually really upset.”
Young Turks co-host Ana Kasparian then entered the fray, telling Jones, “Get off the stage you fat fuck!”
Jones joked that Saudi Arabia was “funding their little jihad,” and Uygur became unhinged, throwing down his earpiece, grabbing Jones’ microphone and raising his fist as if he were set to strike.
“We’re against Saudi Arabia you dumbass! We talk about that all the time!” Uygur shouted while being held back by a panelist.
Comedian Jimmy Dore then walked right up to Jones and spat his drink in his face.
Ultimately, Jones and his crew walked away to avoid further intensifying the situation.
The political landscape in America has drastically shifted over the past ten years as Dore has since become a frequent guest on The Alex Jones Show and even Cenk Uygur and the Infowars founder are increasingly in agreement about certain issues, such as the war in Iran and Israeli influence over U.S. politics.
