Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.) says she believes the first assassination attempt on President Donald Trump’s life may have been an inside job orchestrated by corrupt elements inside US intelligence agencies.
Appearing on New York Post editor Miranda Devine’s Pod Force One podcast, Rep. Luna noted several anomalies from the foiled July 13, 2024, assassination plot blamed on lone wolf Thomas Matthew Crooks that make her believe the event was a set-up.
“Specifically, what was interesting about the Butler assassination – and I’ve said this before – I think that that was intentional negligence,” said Luna.

The Florida congresswoman went on to say she’d heard testimony from the Secret Service director and Secret Service whistleblowers “that stated that they were basically not present, or told to stand down,” and that snipers organized by local law enforcement to cover the event actually never showed up that day.
“The area that was left open was literally the perfect location to take a shot and basically assassinate someone,” Rep. Luna said.
“And then you have this aspect of the Biden administration that basically gave limited staffing to a former president with Secret Service,” she said, adding that there appeared to be a cover-up of evidence surrounding Crooks, as well.
“I never heard any follow up from that FBI on what happened to the other burner phones, and also if this was just some random lone shooter why did he have burner phones? What happened to his video game console?”
“I mean that there’s a lot outstanding and I’ve actually shared this before that to me that has all the marks of intelligence and I believe an inside job.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Rep. Luna touched on government UFO disclosure, noting she’d “seen evidence in a SCIF that leads me to believe there are things that we cannot explain, and I have observed things that are of NON-HUMAN Origin.”

She also suggested Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates could be one of the next high-profile figures to testify to Congress regarding the Epstein files.
