Black Voters Confront TX Dem Sen Candidate James Talarico at Town Halls

Black Texas voters held Democrat Senate candidate James Talarico’s feet to the fire at recent town halls, demanding he address his radical far-left views while questioning his authenticity.

A heated exchange unfolded during an event in Houston on Sunday, as one feisty black woman told Talarico he must respond to their questions or face voters’ wrath in November.

“So you stay here, you answer our questions, or you suffer the consequences,” the angry woman shouted at Talarico, seemingly catching him off guard.

After telling the woman he appreciated her presence at the event, the woman shot back, “I did it for my people, not you.”

It’s unclear what preceded the incident, but the same woman appears to be a Black Lives Matter organizer who filmed an expletive-laden rant saying black people won’t be voting for Talarico because he’s too moderate and because getting Republican challenger Ken Paxton out of the AG’s office is already a major win for blacks.

“We’re gonna undervote yo’ ass James Talarico, because I know civics. You talking all that fly ass shit. I know civics, and what I know for a goddamn fact is we survived Ken Paxton as the AG – moving that motherfucker down the road to the Senate decreases his ability to terrorize and torture black Texas voters and Texas children. So a win is a motherfucking win, but what I will not have you do is try to instill your great white hope in my motherfucking people and watch you let us down,” the woman said in her video, adding, “I’m not fixing to let you white moderates win.”

Of course, Talarico’s policies – on everything from anti-whitism and universal healthcare, to supporting abortion and “trans kids” – prove he’s much further left than a moderate – but even that’s not radical enough for the BLM organizer!

“Black Texas voters – we ain’t fucking playing with you,” the woman continued. “Yeah, that white boy should have stayed where the fuck he was, because you came here thinking he was dealing with colored people and you met real niggas only.”

At the same event, Talarico labeled the Supreme Court’s recent ruling against racist gerrymandering “the most aggressive attack [on black political power] that we’ve seen since Jim Crow.”

The decision struck down a Louisiana congressional redistricting map that would have created a second majority-black district, redrawn on the sole basis of race.

Talarico didn’t fare much better in Dallas, Texas, on Monday.

A black voter demanded to know his stance on transgender teachers in schools, squarely asking, “Are you for or against cross-dressing teachers in school? I know you said you believe in six genders and Jesus was non-binary.”

“Will you be supporting those things? Because I don’t think in elementary schools that is appropriate,” the woman told him.

The Democrat senate hopeful had to ease up on his far-left views, responding, “If you enjoy cross-dressing you should probably keep it at home, not bring it to work.”

A man at the event also inquired about an issue evidently dear to black voters: reparations.

Talarico responded that “Restoration, repairing past harms, is part of my faith tradition…”

The embattled Democrat also played to his black audience’s animosity towards cops, telling them that law enforcement is “weaponized against black and brown communities.”

Talarico is clearly facing major headwinds in his quest to turn the Lone Star State purple and flailing among the black demographic – but can he win Texas without their support?

If not, Paxton is a shoe-in, and Texas will remain reliably red for the next several years.
